Kate's Favorite Scripture

This scripture is from the Book of Mormon, another testament of Jesus Christ. If you are interested in learning more concerning this book, here's a great site to visit that explains about the Book of Mormon.

2 Nephi 4:16
Behold, my soul delighteth in the things of the Lord; and my heart pondereth continually upon the things which I have seen and heard.

I love the scripture. The short history behind this scripture is that Nephi's father Lehi just passed away and Nephi is pondering upon the things which his father has taught him and which he has learned from the Lord. The reason I love this scripture so much is because of the peace it allows me to feel. I love that it reminds me of the delight I feel when I read the scriptures and when I have the spirit of the Lord in my life.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

We are both members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS) commonly known as the "Mormons." Both Kate and I were born into the church, but over the years have come to know of the truthfulness of the church's teachings on our own. We definitely don't know everything about the gospel and the teachings of the LDS church but we would be happy to share with any of you what we do know.
